At a very young age, Korean-American actress Sam Yim moved from South Korea to Toronto, Canada to Seattle, WA and finally to the New York City area where she grew up. She studied acting at Rutgers University and during her third year was able to work with acclaimed director Tim Carroll at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, as Ophelia in Hamlet. Her career began, while at Rutgers, in the feature film West 32nd with co-stars John Cho and Grace Park. After receiving her BFA, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Her most recent film role was in 2017 in Transformers: The Last Knight.- Sam Yim is known for The Magic of Oz the Great and Powerful: Second Screen (2013).
